Rose Christine (Spencer) Shinault

Mrs. Rose Christine Spencer Shinault, age 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born on July 6, 1939 in Surry County to the late Robert Glen and Mary Warf Spencer.

 Mrs. Shinault is survived by her loving husband and lifelong saw mill man, Ralph Shinault of the home; three sons, Otis (Rosa), Matthew, William (Brittany) Shinault; two daughters, Alicia (Andrew) Hoop, River Shinault; five grandchildren, Kendi Snow, Hunter Snow, Bryant Hoop, Josiah Hoop, Charli Snow.

 Mrs. Shinault was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Charity and Jim Hill; half-brother, Bobby Cain; three grandchildren, Dakota Andrew Shinault, Caleb Ralph Shinault, and Piper Rose Dean Shinault.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home with Pastor Woody Flippin officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
