Ruth Emma (Tucker) Bennett

Ruth Tucker Bennett, age 85, of King, NC, passed away on May 23, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on August 5, 1931 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Isaac Clifton Tucker and Mary Eliza Boyles Tucker.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by two daughters, Joann Stallings and Sandra (Dannie) Tuttle; a sister, Pauline Kapp; seven grandchildren, Christy Tillman, Tonya (Gary) Hutchens, Felicia (Tommy) Rominger, DJ (Tika) Ingram, Brittany (Jason) Hill, Amanda Tuttle, and Scotty (Carrie) Tuttle; ten great-grandchildren, Joshua Tuttle, Cara Fulk, Reid Fulk, Madison Fulk, Ryan Hutchens, Kayla Ingram, Kelsea Ingram, Hunter Hill, Bayleigh Zachary, and Wesley Tuttle; and three step-grandchildren, Brian Lewis, Taylor Lewis, and Christian Lewis.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul Bennett; a son, Billy Gray Bennett; a sister, Alice Holt; and a son-in-law, Randall Stallings.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2 P.M. with Rodney Marshall and Scotty Marshall officiating.

Interment will follow in Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
