Virginia Shelton Obituary

Mrs. Virginia Melba McCraw Shelton, age 95, of Mount Airy, NC, passed away on Monday May 6, 2019 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born on May 20, 1923 to the late Hilary Roscoe McCraw and Ardella Calloway McCraw.

Mrs. Shelton will be loved and missed by her family and friends. She leaves cherished memories with her daughter Linda S. Patterson (Ken) LeCompte, three grandchildren; Stephen, Tim and Brian Patterson, two great-grandchildren; Dakota and Kenyon Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and six sisters.

A private graveside service will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
