Zipper Jackson Obituary

It is with deepest regret we inform you of the passing of K9 Officer Zipper on November 17th, 2019.  Zipper was employed by the Pilot Mountain Police Department in November 2007 and served the Town of Pilot Mountain for eight years. Zipper was a Dutch Shepherd, and a patrol certified K9, trained in narcotics, tracking and apprehension. Zipper was retired from service in July 2015. She enjoyed her remaining retirement, living with her handler, Robbie Jackson, and his wife Amanda.  Zipper was more than a Police dog; she was a member of the family. Zipper will be greatly missed.

Cox-Needham Funeral Home proudly honors the life and service of K9 Officer Zipper.
