Adam Eugene Stewart

Mr. Adam Eugene Stewart, age 38 of King, passed away unexpectedly on Monday night, June 3, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 10, 1985 in Forsyth County to Ernest Eugene & Diane Hall Stewart.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Tracy Hunter; numerous cousins, aunts & uncles.  Adam also leaves behind his beloved dog, Winnie, his four-legged child.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roby Stewart, Alice Stewart & Ellen Hall; his uncle, Wesley Stewart; & his brother-in-law, Timmy Hunter.

Adam spent seven years as a sheriffs deputy in Stokes County where he loved serving his community.  His most recent job venture was as the inventory control supervisor of Princess House.  When he wasn’t working, he could be found spending time with his family & friends, brightening up their day & making them laugh.  The light of Adams world was his special girl, Winnie.  He was such a proud dog dad & treated her like a princess.  The love of a boy & his dog was genuine between these two.

A memorial service for Mr. Stewart will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 8th at Olive Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Lusk & Rev. Mitch Robertson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
