Alcury Hustion Nunn

Mr. Alcury Hustion Nunn, age 92, of Westfield, NC, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home in Francisco, North Carolina.

He was born on February 20, 1929, in Stokes County, North Carolina, to the late Donnis Nunn and Gurther Slate Nunn.

Mr. Nunn worked as a farmer and was of the Evangelical Presbyterian faith. He was a founding member of the Francisco Fire Department, Francisco Rescue Squad and Francisco Ruritan Club.

He is survived by his son Ronnie Nunn and wife Jacqueline; daughters: Karen Collins, Cheryl King and husband Mike; and Carla Smith and husband Lawrence as well as a sister Anna Lee Kidd and 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great -great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Mr. Nunn was predeceased by his wife Norma May Nunn, his sons Blaine Nunn and Myron Nunn, as well as a brother Raeford Nunn.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2pm at Asbury Evangelical Church in Asbury, NC with Reverends Terry Collins and Rickey Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Interment will follow at Francisco Presbyterian Church in Francisco, NC immediately following the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice of your choice.
