Alma Forrest

Mrs. Alma Forrest, age 82, of King, passed away on April 23, 2025, at Universal Health Care of King.

She was born on February 28th, 1943, in King, NC to the late Harvey Gordon and Alma Flippen Gordon.

Mrs. Forrest worked as a knitter on Airline Seats. Mrs. Forrest was dedicated to the Lord, she loved Gospel music. She loved flowers and loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Forrest (Benita Taylor), Tony Forrest (Kim), Dale Forrest (Tonya); two grandchildren, Ariel and Chyann; and sister, Betty Orgburn.

In addition to her parents Harvey Gordon and Alma Flippen Gordon, Mrs. Forrest was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. Forrest; and brothers, Colonel Gordon, Donald Gordon.

A service will be conducted April 29, 2025, at 2:00pm at Mount Olive Baptist Church with visitation from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with Rev. Randy Roberts and Rev. Kenny Heath officiating.
