Amber Kristen Mitchell

Ms. Amber Kristen Mitchell, age 28, of Mt.Airy, passed away on February 4th, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on December 19th, 1995, in Forsyth County to the late Daniel and Tracy Mitchell.

Ms. Mitchell worked as a Assistant District Manager at Dollar General, her boss said she was his right hand man. Ms. Mitchell will be remembered for her kind, big heart, who would do anything for anyone. She was a hard-worker. Ms. Mitchell loved Vans shoes, Pokémon, and skateboarding. Her favorite movie was The Little Mermaid. Her family says she loved crushed ice. Ms. Mitchell loved her many, many cats. She will be remembered as the best daughter and sister.

She is survived by her mother, Tracy Walker Mitchell; brothers, Joey (Christain) Mitchell, Derek (Haley) Mitchell, Mark Mitchell; boyfriend, Dylan Mears; nephew, Daniel James "Danny" Mitchell; maternal grandpa, Jim Walker; Aunts, Kim and Lori (Steve); uncle Barry (Jessica);  many cousins; and her many cats.

Ms. Mitchell was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Joesph Mitchell; grandmothers, paternal grandfather and two uncles.

A funeral service will be conducted February 9th, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Bro. D.C Collins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pilot City Cemetery.
