Obituary
Annie Mae Angell Hutchens. age 97, of Pinnacle, NC passed on Friday, February 18, 2022, at her home.
She was born January 22, 1925, to the late William Gurley Angell and Ellen Elizabeth Brown Angell.
Mrs. Hutchens was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen H Davis, Bonnie (Akers) H. Hill, and Jennifer (Vance) Boyles; two sons, Garry D (Diane) Hutchens and Larry R Hutchens; and five grandchildren, Karen Rutledge, Lorie Davis, Robert Snyder, Holly Snyder and Daniel Hutchens.
Mrs. Hutchens was preceded in death by her loving parents, William Gurney Angell and Ellen Elizabeth Brown Angell and her beloved husband, Daner Robert Hutchens
There will be a graveside service at Friends Union Cemetery on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Danny Hall and Junior Whitaker officiating. She will lie in state at Cox-Needham Funeral Home prior to the service.
Floral tributes will be accepted, or donations may be made to Trellis Health Care of Surry County, or organization of the donor’s choice.
