Barbara Jean (Boles) Bundy

Barbara Jean Boles Bundy, 81, of Westfield, passed away June 12, 2021, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. Born February 25, 1940, she was the daughter of Ernest and Lydia Allen Boles. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Ronnie D. Bundy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa B. (Dwayne) Prevette, Debra L. Bundy, Kay L. (Tony) Johnson; a sister, Lyn Rehm; soulmate and companion, Ellis Whitt; three grandchildren, Bryan Bundy, Arissa Johnson, Emily Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Selena Ramos and Anthony Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry D. Bundy; a brother, Larry Boles; and a granddaughter, Deborah Maxi Bundy.

Barbara was a 1959 graduate of Trinity High School. She had a unique ability to connect and genuinely touch the heart of anyone she spent even a few seconds with. It did not matter, young or old, or from any walk of life.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, June 18, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel. Family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service. Pastor Andy Pack will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
