Barbara Marie (McGehee) Cornett

Mrs. Barbara Marie Cornett, age 66, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on December 4, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born on June 3rd, 1957, in Champaign, Illinois to the late William Lee and Mable McGehee.

Mrs. Cornett loved animals, especially dogs; she loved the mountains and sightseeing.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Cornett; daughter, Traci Kerr; son, Andy Carey; grandchildren, Ethan Kerr, Jessilyn Kerr, Taten Carey, and Lillian Carey; brother, Leroy McGehee; and sisters; Nancy and Dorothy.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cornett was preceded in death by her sister, Velva Bartlow.

There will be no formal services for Mrs. Cornett at this time.
