Barbara Ann Medley

Barbara Ann Medley, 81, of Surry County, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1943, in Pilot Mountain, NC, to the late Jessie Lankford and Iva Mozell Lankford.

Barbara was a dedicated and hardworking woman, spending much of her career with Proctor Silex. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, devotion to her family, and the love she poured into those around her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Fulk Atkins (Wayne); her granddaughter, Amanda Pugh (John); and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Norma Wright and Vickie Lankford-Farrior.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Medley.

A private service will be held by the family at a later date.
