Benny Joe Brown

Mr. Benny Joe Brown, age 73, of Siloam, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025, in Greensboro.

Benny was born on November 10, 1951, in Surry County to the late Harvey Wesley Brown and Kathleen Mayes Brown. He worked for many years as a skilled carpenter, known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his trade.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annette Crouse Brown; one son, Joey Brown and wife Karie; one daughter, Amanda Brown; three step-children, Tommy Wall and wife Taysa, Jason Wall and wife April, and Alicia Norman and husband Ben. Benny also leaves behind ten cherished grandchildren: Sabrina, Charles, Alex, Ryan, Morgan, Sebastian, Ava, Riley, Adalyn, and Elijah. He is also survived by his brother, Eddie Brown and wife Lillie Mae.

In addition to his parents, Benny was preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Brown.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Mayes officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Church cemetery.
