Mr. Bernard Gribbin, age 74, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on January 11, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born on June 19th, 1949, in Queens, New York to the late Peter and Rose Gribbin.
Mr. Gribbin was an amazing husband; he was caring and thoughtful and always put his wife first. He lived life to the fullest and was the life of the party. He never met a stranger and was always joking with someone if he was not debating, which he loved to do. Mr. Gribbin was the first to always help others and he played a big part in raising his grandchildren, who he was so very proud of, each and every one of them. He enjoyed traveling, playing scratch-offs and going to the casino. He loved watching western movies and watching wrestling with his son.
He is survived by his wife, Micheline Gribbin; daughters, Angela (Richie) and Kimberly; son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Krissy; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Gribbin was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Gribbin; son, Bernard Gribbin; brothers, Paul Gribbin, Raymond Gribbin, Peter Gribbin, Michael Gribbin, and Tommy Gribbin; sisters, Mary, Elenor, and Louise.
A memorial service will be conducted January 13th, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00pm with D.C. Collins officiating.
