Bertie Marie (Wall) Beck

Bertie Marie Wall Beck, age 98 of Trinity, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on the morning of Wednesday, July 9, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1926 in Surry County to the late John Wesley Wall & Bessie Ann Cummings Wall.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Teresa (Larry) Hinkle, Randy (Sondra) Beck & Janet (Jeff) Beck; seven grandchildren, Scott (Annette) Johnson, Penny (Terry) Evans, Brandon (Bethany) Beck, Katlyn (Adam) Weatherford, Ty Cannon, Colton Beck & Toni Marie (Brian) Bowers; and eleven great-grandchildren, Ashley (Austin) Gentle, Abbey Johnson, Lindsey (Devin) Pruitt, Dustin Evans, Baron Beck, Ryan Beck, Callia Beck, Macy Weatherford, Beckham Weatherford, Casey Bowers & Leanne (Scott) Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Atkinson Beck & one daughter, Jewel Johnson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Pine Hill Church in Ararat. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 1:00 pm. Pastor John Shelley & Rev. Bill Watson will be officiating the services. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
