Obituary
Mr. Billy Lee Rachel, age 72, of Pinnacle, passed away on June 9th, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on January 14th ,1951, in Surry County to the late Roy Rachel and Ethel Marie Fain Rachel.
Mr. Rachel was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved music. He sang professionally for 8 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Rachel; stepson, Christopher Ciancio; sister-in-law, Elaine; brother-in-law, Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roy and Ethel Rachel, Mr. Rachel was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Rachel.
Funeral services will be conducted June 14th, 2023, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2pm with Pastor Todd Lusk officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Pinnacle United Methodist Church Cemetery.
