Brenda Beane Bowman

Mrs. Brenda Beane Bowman, age 73, of Pinnacle, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, August 24, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born on January 16, 1952, in Surry County to the late James Franklin Beane and Ola Maude Hamlin Beane.

Brenda dedicated many years of her life working as a store manager with Family Dollar, where she enjoyed serving her community and building lasting friendships.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard C. Bowman; her sister, Linda Draughn; and her brother, Don Beane.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Angie (Lee) Ratcliff; her grandsons, Tanner Bowman and Dillon McCraw; her granddaughter, Madysin Ratcliff; her great-grandson, Jayden McCraw; and her brother, Randy (Diane) Beane. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Mountain Valley Hospice.
