Brenda (Bledsoe) Moorefield

Mrs. Brenda Bledsoe Moorefield, age 79, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on July 28th, 2023, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

She was born on September 17th, 1943, in Surry County, to the late Lloyd and Addie Bledsoe.

Mrs. Moorefield is survived by her daughter, Rhonda and husband Samuel Fortune; sister, Linda Cromer; grandchildren, Jason Duran and Joshua Dean; great-grandchildren, Angel Marie Fortune, Kevin Thomas, Michael Seth, Lyla Kaye and Cloey Lynn; great great-grandchildren, Sophia Simcox, Hazelynn Simcox, and Tanner Jr. Simcox.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Moorefield was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Wilbur Moorefield; brothers, Donald Boyd, Douglas, Arnold, Johnny Lee, Billy Gray and Greg Thomas Bledsoe; and grandson, Kevin Samuel.

Graveside service will be conducted August 2nd, 2023, at 2pm at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown with Rev. Randall Smith officiating.
