Brenda Sue (Chilton) Wall

Brenda Sue Chilton Wall, 70, of Pilot Mountain, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, November 17, 2020.  She was born the daughter of Hollis and Ruby Stephens Chilton on August 18, 1950.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Christopher (Tammy) Wall and Jason Edward Wall; four grandchildren, Christopher Wall, Amy Wall, Rachel Wall and Austin Wall; and a brother and sister-in-law, Steve (Donna) Chilton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda grew up working on the family farm and learned solid work ethic, which she displayed throughout her life.  She owned and operated a tax preparation office for twenty-five years.  When she wasn't working, she cherished time with her family and thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings. 

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Darrell Price will be officiating. Her body will lie in state Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 8:00 AM to just prior to the service. A committal service will follow in the True Way Baptist Church cemetery in Westfield, NC.  

The family requests that attendees please wear face masks and practice social distancing to aid in the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  If not feeling well or running a fever, please refrain from attending.
