Brenda Faye (Garnett) Warden

Brenda Faye (Garnett) Warden, 77, passed away April 14, 2023.

She was born August 13, 1945, to the late John R. and Mildred Collins Garnett.

Mrs. Warden was of the Christian faith and a member of Francisco Presbyterian Church.  She taught swimming lessons for the Richmond City Schools and the Red Cross as well as being a former employee of Tultex and JP Stevens.  She was a very loving person, who was always giving to others and was a talented artist who loved painting with her lady friends.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jimmy Warden; son, Richard Warden (Melanie); daughters, Kimberly Radford (Greg) and Kelly Warden; grandchildren, Brandon, James, Justin (Katelyn), Ethan (Chelsea), Elizabeth, Jessica, Ashley, and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Brody, Johanna, Olive, Collin, and Gwendolyn; sister, Susan Lancaster (Glenn); sister-in-law, Peggy Boardwine (Sam); and nieces, Cathy and Shari.

Funeral Services will be held at Francisco Presbyterian Church on April 19, 2023 at 2:00pm with Will Eads, Terry Collins, and Mark George officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to the service.
