Burley Naylor Obituary

Mr. Burley Holt Naylor, age 80, of King, passed away July 27, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on July 16, 1942, in Winston-Salem to the late Benjamin Franklin Naylor and Sara Margaret Wooten Naylor.

Mr. Naylor worked his entire life as a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved his church family.

He is survived by his sons, Burley Grey Naylor and Howard Ray Naylor; and daughters Angela Gaylene Blevins and Crystal Kathleen Valazquez; grandchildren, Kamron Mikirae Naylor, Kenzie Grace Naylor, Karlee Michelle Bowman, Chanler Kent Wagoner, Tristan Holt Wagoner, Megan Nichole Gregory, Janie Hillanbrand, Jacquelyn Rosario Velazquez, Jennifer Marisol Velazquez, and Katrina Blevins; and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Naylor was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sylvia Rising Naylor and many brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 10:00am at Valley View Baptist Church located at 6240 Old Valley School Road, Kernersville, NC 27284.  Officants for the service will be Pastor Richard Lenderman and Brother Roman Nelson, Sr.
