Carl Ralph Reneau

Mr. Carl Ralph Reneau, age 86, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on April 24th, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 21st, 1937, in Seguine, Texas to the late Elton Owen and Gracie Lee Reneau.

Mr. Reneau worked as a meter mechanic for Southern California Gas Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was also an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Tina Lynn Pursch (Joseph), Cheryl Anne Pacheco (Jose), Barbara Eileen Schlenker, and Jennifer Lee Chelgren (Rob); grandchildren, Lora Atherton (Wesley), Audrie West (Tony), Rachael Louthan (Kyle), Clare Lembeck (Tom), Abigail Pursch, Joseph Pursch, Kevin Pacheco (Vanessa), Joseph Pacheco, Ian Schlenker, Joshua Schlenker, Jacob Chelgren, Erik Chelgren (Peyton), Ethan Chelgren, Emma Chelgren, Matthew Chelgren; great-grandchildren, Lois Lembeck, Liam Lembeck, Bryce Pacheco, and Mason Louthan.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reneau was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Reneau; and son, Craig Scott Reneau.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Dobson, North Carolina, at 2:00pm.
