Obituary
Carol Kay Blair, age 75, of Mount Airy, passed away on August 29, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on October 24, 1947, in McDowell County, WV, to the late Roy Cooper and Alta Verna Jackson Cooper.
Carol worked as a real estate agent and never met a stranger. She was “all around, hippie-like” and she loved to listen to music, dance and just have a good time.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Harold Beck; son, Michael Blair; daughter, Stephanie Steed; grandchildren, Cody Steed and Aaron Steed; son-in-law, Jason Steed; great grandchildren, Cayden and Kathryn Steed; brothers, Barry Cooper, Jack Cooper, Gary Cooper, and Jimmy Cooper; and sister, Dixie Steele.
In addition to her parents, Carol was proceeded in death by her husband, Donnie Blair and grandson, Seth Steed.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 1:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
