Charles Ray Davis Jr.

Mr. Charles Ray Davis, Jr., age 53, of Marion, passed away on May 20th, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on April 18th, 1970, in Randolph County, to the late Charles Ray Davis, Sr. and Betty Moore Davis.

Mr. Davis enjoyed listening to Conway Twitty and country music, in general.  He was a fan of NASCAR, especially the Chevrolets, as well as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mountain Dew, and Reese’s Cups.

He is survived by his brothers, Keith Davis (Lynn) and Michael Davis; sister, Tangee Miller (Chad); special cousin and guardian, Wanda Hervey (Scott); and special caregiver, Frannie Brown.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Bessie Moore and Bernice and Lizzie Davis, and sister, Michelle Davis.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2023, at Gospel Baptist Church at 1:00pm with Rev. Wayne Moore and Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.
