Mr. Charles Allen Sprinkle, age 77, of Pinnacle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 20, 1946 in Forsyth County to the late Seabert Brown Sprinkle, Jr. & Helen Geneva Martin Sprinkle.
Mr. Sprinkle owned his own business, Educational Travel Adventures. When he wasn’t traveling for work, he enjoyed exploring new places all over the world with family & friends. Some of his favorite destinations included Hawaii, Switzerland, Austria & Paris.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Wanda Brown Sprinkle; one son, Mark Allen (Cindy) Sprinkle; one daughter, Meredith Sprinkle Cox; six grandchildren, Lauren (Michael) Parker, Nathan Sprinkle, Taylor Cox, Noah Cox, Shawn Cox, Jr. & Megan Cox. He also leaves behind two sisters, Donna (Tom) Lineback & Cathy (Wally) McCarty.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sprinkle was preceded in death by his grandson, Jeremy Sprinkle.
A funeral service for Mr. Sprinkle will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday, May 21st at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church in Tobaccoville, with Pastor David Joyce & Larry Bridges officiating. Visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 at the church, prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society for Lymphoma Research or to Mountain Valley Hospice.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jan Moreb & his staff at Novant Hematology for the exceptional care they provided to Mr. Sprinkle over the past several years.
