Mr. Charles Thomas Watson Jr., age 50, of Pinnacle, passed away on September 30, 2023, at his home.
He was born on September 20th, 1973, in Forsyth County to Charles Thomas Watson, Sr. and Joyce Faye Priddy Watson.
Mr. Watson worked for Penn Engineering and loved playing guitar, singing, and writing music. Along with this, he enjoyed fishing with his wife, playing golf, and going to gun shops. He was loved and cherished by all who met him and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Reid Watson; parents, Charles and Joyce Watson; stepchildren, Honesty Longworth (Stoney), Devin Newsome (Kristen), and Faith Newsome (Mitchell); four grandchildren with one on the way; aunts, Carol “Snook” Warden and Rachel Kennedy (Jim); uncles, Jerry Priddy (Cindy) and Wayne Warden; special cousin, Sheri Hall (Paul); and best friends, Travis Chambers and Edgar “Carl” Steinmeyer.
A celebration of life will be conducted on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at Pinnacle United Methodist Church at 2:00pm with Rev. Robin Johnson and Rev. Brent Sawyers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Watson’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Mountain Valley Hospice, Shannocks Pawn Shop and Red Oak Outfitters for their support during this time.
