Cheryl Annette Bedington

Cheryl Annette Bedington, age 56, of Mount Airy, passed away on August 21, 2022 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born on July 8, 1966, in Stokes County, to Shirley Lawson McKinney and the late Thomas McKinney

Mrs. Bedington worked at Cone Health in Greensboro and was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed singing in the choir and traveling.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Bedington; son, Bradley (Krysta) Martin; daughter, Breonna Martin; mother and step-father, Shirley and Jimmy Barney; sister, Dawn (Chris) Stevens; step-sister, Wendy (Jeff) Langley; bonus sister, Kim (Maurice) Ferguson; and special aunt, Kathy (Jerry) Greenwood.

Mrs. Bedington was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 2:00pm at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church in Westfield, with Pastor Dean White officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.  the family will receive visitors after interment at the church fellowship hall and also on August 23, 2022 at the home of Dawn Stevens after 3:00pm
