BRYANT, Christopher Dale
February 9, 1956 – April 26, 2022
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Chris Bryant also affectionally known by his many friends as “Chitwood”, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, after a lengthy and noble battle with cancer with his loving sisters by his side. He born February 9, 1956, and graduated from West Forsyth High School in 1974.
Chris worked in his father’s business, Burke Aluminum Supply, most of his adult life. After the business closed, he continued his expertise in both the commercial and home improvement field alongside his brother Reggie. They then began their own company, C&R Installations and continued working together as long as they were both able.
Chris’s fondest memories are the days and nights he was with any of his numerous friends camping, fishing, shooting pool and playing poker and coon hunting with his daddy.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, A. Earl Bryant (Shirley), brother and best friend, Reginald “Reggie” and niece, Lori Lloyd-Adams. He is survived by sisters Debbie Bryant (Billy Kendrick) and Sharon Lloyd (Gary), all of Tobaccoville; nephew Russell Shumate (Sabrina) of Yadkinville, niece April Egland (Nick) and sons Lucas, Liam and Odin of Kingsford, Michigan, niece Amanda Nicholson (William Harris) and son Marcus of Fayetteville, NC.
Chris also cherished the love of Uncles Jimmy Snow (Nancy) of Fredricksburg, VA, David Snow (Brenda) of Walkertown; and Aunt Freddie Masencup of Pfafftown.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 30 at Friends Union Church, 1087 Spainhour Mill Rd, Pinnacle. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
