Christopher Alan ("Chris, Pops") Tritt

Christopher “Chris, Pops” Alan Tritt, age 70, of Pilot Mountain, passed away peacefully on the evening of Saturday, February 8, 2025, at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville. He was born on September 20, 1954, in Forsyth County to the late Herman Lee and Gladiola Bailey Tritt.

Chris was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother who cherished his family above all else. He leaves behind his children, Christopher Alan Tritt II, Cheryl Elaine Tritt, April Michelle Long, Jonathan Edward Tritt, and Jeremy Lee Tritt; step-daughter, Lisa Hammond; his beloved grandchildren, Kody, Kaley, Justin, Carolyn, Blake, Grace, Sarah, Adina, Nathaniel, Bailey, and Luke; his brothers, Bruce, Dahl, Dennis, Clif, Tim, and Adam; and his sister, Geri. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kiara Tritt; and three brothers, Gail, Steve, and Storm.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Chris’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.
