January 11, 1980 – February 5, 2025

Mrs. Christy Heath Norton, age 45, of King, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1980, in Surry County to Arlene Dawson Heath and the late Marvin Lee Heath.

Christy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a compassionate heart and a warm, caring nature that touched everyone she met. She earned an associate degree and worked as a trainer at Cook Medical, where she formed many lasting friendships with her colleagues.

Above all, Christy was a loving wife and mother, cherishing every moment with her family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Erick Norton; her beloved daughter, Gracie Nichole Norton; her mother and stepfather, Arlene Dawson Heath and Van Brewer; her sister, Brandy Jennings (Dean); her nephew, Folger Jennings; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Wanda Norton; as well as several cousins and many dear friends.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain.  Funeral services will follow the visitation, beginning at 2:00pm, with Evangelist Don Sherrod officiating.  Burial will follow at Tru-Way Baptist Church Cemetery.

Christy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
