Cody James Hodges, age 34, of Mt. Airy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Born on August 9, 1990, in Forsyth County, Cody was the beloved son of James Edward and Melissa Ann Hiatt Hodges.
Cody’s greatest joy in life was his son, Blaze James Hodges, who will forever cherish his memory. He also shared a special bond with his beloved pet, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nevada Victoria and James Walter Hiatt, and his paternal grandparents, Charles Leonard and Ruby Marie Hodges.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Cody’s family and dear friends for their unwavering love and support during this difficult time.
A time of remembrance to honor Cody’s life will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
Cody will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.
