Dale Ray Byerly

Dale Ray Byerly, 59 of Pinnacle, NC passed away Monday July 6, 2020 at his home. Dale was born in Willimantic, Connecticut on December 22, 1960 to Harvey Ray and Jo Ann Dye Byerly. Dale met and married his love, Kandi, and together they had two children, Crawford Aaron and Melissa Ellen Byerly. Dale was an accomplished chef and enjoyed cooking for his friends and family. While in good health he was a cook for Hungry Farmer Restaurant and will surely be missed by all the patrons. Dale loved the outdoors and all animals, he enjoyed fishing and his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchild. Dale was a family man and to his children, “the greatest father that ever lived, never to be forgotten and always remembered.” He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Kandi Sue Byerly, his children, Crawford Aaron and Melissa Ellen Byerly whom he lovingly referred to as “baby girl” and a granddaughter, Grace Erielle Byerly whom he referred to as “Sugar Box.” One brother, Gary Byerly and two sisters, Tina and Tammie Byerly, and an incredibly special family friend, Ollie Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Byerly's service will be Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cox-Needham Chapel.  Donations to help the family with funeral expenses are being accepted and graciously appreciated, please see the "donation" button at top of obituary.
