Daniel Joseph Temperle, 58, of King, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Born October 29, 1962, in Louisiana, he was the son of Richard and Judith Cole Temperle. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his best friend, his loving wife, Kim Brinkley Temperle; his four daughters and son-in-law, Tabitha Noonkester, Crisitin (Josh) Ballard, Kelsey Bowman, Dana Temperle; an adopted son, Austin Surratt; three grandsons, Matthew Forester, Declan Bowman, Derek Bowman; four brothers; and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Dick” Temperle.
Daniel was a man of admirable character and work ethic. He served our country in the Army, and after running his own business, he drove for years for Salem Leasing. When he was home, he chose to spend time with his wife, his daughters and his beloved grandsons, riding four-wheelers, motorcycles, and the tractor. He had a fondness for spending quality time with his constant companion of 26 years: his wife, swimming in their pool or traveling to Alaska. He will be remembered as a great husband, wonderful Dad, and an amazing “Papa” and will be deeply missed.
