Darold Sawyers Obituary

Mr. Darold Junior Sawyers, 72, of King, NC went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 11, 2020 at his home. Darold was born on September 3, 1947 to James Aubrey and Ruby S. Sawyers. He was employed in construction, as long as his health permitted. He loved hunting and fishing and introducing his beloved grandkids to the outdoors. Darold leaves to cherish his memory, five daughters, Kim (Daniel) Dresser, Tonya Wagoner, Renee (Ray) Wagoner, Crystal (Brandon) Evans and Ruby (Clint) Williams; two sons, William and Spencer Sales; five brothers, Randall (Cookie) Sawyers, Harold (Jan) Sawyers, Delmer (Gaye) Sawyers, Ronnie (Gylnis) Sawyers, and Barry (Wendy) Sawyers; Four sisters, Frances Hicks, Mickey D. (Vic) Mendenhall, Debbie (Travis) Wright, and Bonnie (James) Westmoreland. A step-brother; Ricky Sechrest and a step-sister, Donna Sparger. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and a very special friend; Junior (Renee) Hayden. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donnie Sawyers.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
