Diane (Taylor) Beck

Helen Diane Taylor Beck, age 63, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on November 29, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on October 1, 1959, in Forsyth County, to Paul Ezekiel Taylor and the late Helen Louise Hamlin Dorsett.

She loved doing crafts, and working in the yard. She loved the beach and spending time with her family. She was a CNA before she became disabled. Nursing was her passion. She loved taking care of others. She had a heart of gold and did her best to help others. Most of all, she loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. She loved going to the beach and gardening with them. She always had beautiful flower beds.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Atkins and husband, David; three grandchildren, Abigail, Chloe, and Bryson Atkins; one great-grandson on the way; father, Paul Taylor; four brothers, Stevie Taylor, Mark Taylor, Jeff Collins and wife Michelle, and Rodney Collins; four special sisters-in-law, Connie Taylor, Vicki Taylor, Catina Gwyn. and Patricia Guynn; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Mary Snow and Cindy Brent.

In addition to her mother, Diane, was preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Beck; an infant granddaughter, Natalie Atkins; and a brother, Donnie Taylor.

A memorial service for Mrs. Beck will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 17th at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Darrell Price officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:45 pm to 1:45pm prior to the service.
