Dianne Phillips

Ms. Dianne Phillips, age 61, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on June 11th, 2024, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born on December 5th, 1962, in Surry County, to the late Jim Phillips and Jane Phillips Brindle.

Dianne found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid football and NASCAR racing fan, always cheering on her favorite teams and drivers. The beach was her happy place, where she loved to relax with her feet in the sand, soaking up the sun and the breeze.

A talented crafter and scrapbooker, Dianne enjoyed creating beautiful memories through her art. She captured countless moments with her camera, preserving the precious times spent with her family. Her love for crafting and scrapbooking was a testament to her creativity and her dedication to family.

Above all, Dianne was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family deeply, and her warmth and affection touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire and guide her family.

Dianne was a kid at heart, and her favorite Disney character, Eeyore, reflected her whimsical and loving nature. Her playful spirit brought joy to those around her, making every moment spent with her special.

She is survived by her son, Steven and Bobbi Beane; daughter, Stefany Beane and Scotty Flippen; best friend and sister, Kim Baker; brother, Dale and Debbie Phillips; grandchildren, Zackery Flippen, Alexis Beane, and Gabriel Beane; nieces, Mandy Nester and Brandy Spiken; great-niece and nephew, Dakota Janzen and Emory Jane Hooker.

Along with her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her beloved fur baby, Kenzi.

A celebration of life will be conducted June 23rd, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 1:00pm. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
