Dixie Felts Heath

Dixie Felts Heath, 70, of Mount Airy, went home to be with her Lord, passing at  Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, on Sunday, February 9, 2020. Dixie was born in Surry County on May 8, 1949 to Oscar and Lillie Felts Burchette. Dixie met and later married Paul Heath, Sr.  and together they had two children, Jessie Wayne (Cindy) Heath and Paul Ray Heath, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Jessie and Wife Cindy Heath; one brother, Jackie (Carolyn) Felts; two sisters,  Mildred (North) Smith and Mary Jackson;  grandchildren; John (Megan), Charleise, Michael and Hailey Heath; and three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Sarah and Alyssa Heath; many nieces and nephews, including Donna Martin. Preceding Mrs. Heath in death are; one child, Paul Ray Heath, Jr.; and a brother, Willis Felts.

The family will receive friends for a memorial service on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00PM in the Cox-Needham Chapel with the Rev. Randy Perdue, officiating. Cox-Needham Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Heath Family.  822 W. Main Street Pilot Mountain, NC.
