Donald Pearson Conner

Donald Pearson Conner, 84, of Winston-Salem, passed peacefully, at his home, on Saturday, January 24, 2020.  Born July 14, 1935 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of Thomas Howard Pearson and Kathlene Conner Pearson.   He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of  58 years, Imogene Childress Conner; four sons and daughters-in-law, Donald James (Teresa) Conner, Cecil Benjamin (Patricia) Conner, Carl Andrew Thomas, and Michael Pearson Amy) Conner; three sisters and brother-in-law, Lou Ann Conner, Belinda Conner, and Alta Jean (Jamie) Wallace; seventeen grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.  Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 Pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and a funeral service with military honors will be held graveside, immediately following, at The People’s Church at 218 Gospel Time Way, in Mount Airy at 2:30 PM.  Jimmy Hamm will be officiating.
