Donna Ashburn Bryant

Donna Ashburn Bryant, 61, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.  She was born to Jesse Gray Ashburn and Ima Jean Jennings Ashburn on March 23, 1960, in Stokes County, NC.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Bryant; daughter, Leslie, and son in law, Josh Hamm,  a granddaughter, Jessie Hamm; special brother Steve (Robin) Ashburn a uncle Aubrey(Judy) Jennings, aunt Mickey Ashburn, uncle Buster Gordan, brothers in law and sisters in law Randy (Shelby) Bryant, Rex(Mary) Bryant. Several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She also leaves behind two special friends Susan Hensley and Thelma Dobson who were more than just friends and considered sisters

Up until her retirement, Donna worked at R J Reynolds as a factory worker.  She had a loving and caring spirit. Donna lived her life praising the Lord and worshipping Him.  Her life was dedicated to being a wife, mom, and grandmother. Ricky says she was his rock and love of his life. Leslie says she was an awesome mom and her best friend

 Donna and Ricky were married 42 years at the time of her death.  Ricky recalled fondly, seeing Donna when they would go” cruising” in Pilot Mountain.

The family will have a closed private ceremony on Friday December 3,2021 with a celebration of life to be held at a later date
