Estefania Cervantes

Estefania Cervantes, 22, of Pilot Mountain, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2025. She was born in 2002 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Gloria Madrigal and Hector Cervantes.

Estefania will be remembered for her warm and affectionate spirit. She found joy in cooking, baking, and line dancing, often sharing her talents and enthusiasm with those around her. She had a playful side and loved making and recording funny videos with her mom, creating cherished memories. Estefania enjoyed exploring new places, shopping for treasures, and taking car rides filled with loud music and laughter. She had a generous heart, always eager to help others and treat herself and her loved ones. The holidays were particularly special to her, as she delighted in celebrating with her family and friends.  She loved spending time playing with all of her nieces & nephews.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents; her stepfather, Gabriel Pedroza; her siblings, Jessica (Javier) Arce, Joel Cervantes, Jennifer Cervantes, and Alison Pedroza; the love of her life, Joseph Marion; and eight beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Adolfo Madrigal.

A funeral service for Ms. Cervantes will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Airy. Interment will follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation at Cox-Needham Funeral Home on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Estefanía Cervantes, de 22 años, de Pilot Mountain, falleció inesperadamente el 4 de enero de 2025. Nació en 2002 en Fort Wayne, Indiana, hija de Gloria Madrigal y Héctor Cervantes.

Estefanía será recordada por su espíritu cálido y afectuoso. Le encantaba cocinar, hornear y bailar en línea, y a menudo compartía sus talentos y entusiasmo con quienes la rodeaban. Tenía un lado juguetón y le encantaba hacer y grabar vídeos divertidos con su madre, creando recuerdos preciados. Estefanía disfrutaba explorando nuevos lugares, comprando tesoros y dando paseos en auto llenos de música a todo volumen y risas. Tenía un corazón generoso, siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás y a tratarse a sí misma y a sus seres queridos. Las fiestas fueron particularmente especiales para ella, ya que le encantaba celebrarlas con su familia y amigos.  Le encantaba pasar tiempo jugando con todos sus sobrinos y sobrinas.

Entre los que quedan para apreciar su memoria se encuentran sus padres; su padrastro, Gabriel Pedroza; sus hermanos, Jessica (Javier) Arce, Joel Cervantes, Jennifer Cervantes y Alison Pedroza; el amor de su vida, Joseph Marion; y ocho queridos sobrinos y sobrinas. Le precedieron en la muerte su abuelo, Adolfo Madrigal.

Se llevará a cabo un funeral para la Sra. Cervantes a las 2:00 p.m. el viernes 10 de enero de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica Romana Holy Angels en Mt. Airy. Seguirá el entierro en el cementerio Pilot Mountain City. La familia recibirá amigos durante una visita en Cox-Needham Funeral Home el jueves 9 de enero de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m.
