Eugene Alden Bellmore

September 10, 1947 ~ April 30, 2022 (age 74)


Mr. Eugene Alden Bellmore, age 74, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Eugene was born on September 10, 1947, in Maine, to the late Wilford Eugene and Ruth Devoe Bellmore. In his late teens his family moved to Virginia Beach, where he met his first wife Marie, and had three children. He worked as a merchant marine and spent most of his life on the water.

After the death of his eldest son, he met his second wife Lisa. Together they had one child and he adopted her two children. Then he met the love of his life, Betsy, whom he was married to for 23 years but had an amazing 30 years together in all.

Eugene loved traveling with his wife Betsy, all over the United States. He was known by his friends and family as Fuzzy, and he enjoyed action type video games and playing with his children and grandchildren. He loved being a father, kids were drawn to him, and he even took in children that needed a loving home.

Mr. Bellmore is survived by his wife loving wife Betsy Jo Harper Bellmore and his sons Noah Wilford Bellmore (Debi), Joseph Harell Bellmore (Amanda), Christopher Mark Bellmore (Cynthia), Jimmy Gene Bellmore (Taylor); his daughter Arlene Bellmore Ayers (Mark); several siblings including Bruce Bellmore; grandchildren Latasha, Katarina (Jimmy), Tasha (Nick), Michael (Emma), Jeremiah, Jozlyn, Windy, Dean, Payton, Weston, and Adaline; and great grandchild Oliver; he is also survived by his second ex-wife Lisa Trumble (Richard).

In addition to his parents Mr. Bellmore was predeceased by his son Eugene Alden Bellmore, Jr. and his first ex-wife Marie Bellmore.

Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
