Fred Goins

Mr. Fred Goins, age 88, of Walnut Cove, passed away on February 24, 2023 at Kate B. Reynolds in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was born on March 14, 1934, in Francisco, NC, to the late James Thomas Goins and Lucy Lawson Goins.

Before his retirement, Mr. Goins worked as and construction foreman and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kitty Martin; granddaughters, Melissa and Kelly Martin; grandson, Tim Goins; great-grandsons, Logan Martin and Emmett Smith; and great-granddaughter, Raven Goins.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Goins was predeceased by his wife of nineteen years, Carol Wilhite; daughters, Linda Butner and Cindy Teague; and fifteen siblings.

A private Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery in King, NC.
