Gail Skidmore Obituary

Mrs. Gail Sims Skidmore, age 78, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on July 26th, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on May 21st, 1946, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Richard Jackson and Juanita Spainhour Sims.

Mrs. Skidmore worked as a secretary for The Bank of America for many years.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her husband, Carl Lewis Skidmore; daughter, Caroline Prochnau (Kenneth); grandchildren, Meghan and Joshua; step-grandchildren, Jeffery Ryan and Mikaya; stepson, Jeffery C. Skidmore; stepdaughter, Laura Skidmore; sisters, Nina Douglas and Patsy Dennis; brother, Rick Sims.

There will be no formal services at this time.
