Glenda Lou Cockerham

Mrs. Glenda Lou Bowman Cockerham, age 74, of Mount Airy, passed away on December 8, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born on March 2, 1949, in Surry County, North Carolina to the late Gilbert Franklin “Tom Bill” Bowman and Virginia Payne.

Mrs. Cockerham worked as a hairdresser during her life. She loved her family and her animals.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Koehler (Laurie); grandchildren, William “Cody” Cecil ( Angela), Jake Koehler, Hannah Koehler, Andy Koehler, Tommy Koehler, Briana Koehler, Cameron Gates, Brandon Gates; great-grandchild, Chloanne Cecil.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cockerham was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cockerham; daughter, Teresa Cecil; Son-in-law, Shane Gates; grandson, Joesph Koehler.

There will be no formal services for Mrs. Cockerham at this time.
