Harley Junior Griffith

Mr. Harley Griffith, age 87, of Mount Airy, passed away on January 11, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

He was born on May 31st, 1936, in Floyd County, Virginia to the late Denzer and Georgia Griffith.

He is survived by his wife, Rosetta Griffith; daughter, Sondra (Donnie) Thompson; grandchildren, Katrina (Chris) Bowles, Gary (Taylor) Thompson, and Brittany (Leon) Vera; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Bowles, Chloee Bowles, Raelynn Thompson, Novah Thompson, Elik Thompson; Leonicio Vera and Elana Vera.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Griffith was preceded in death by his son, Michael Griffith; brothers, Wayne, J.D., and Howard Griffith; sister, Barbara Vipperman; niece, Jennifer.

There will be no formal visitation or service at this time.
