Hazel Mae (Warden) Sechrist

Mrs. Hazel Sechrist, age 91, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on January 16, 1930, in Surry County North Carolina, to the late Manuel Warden and Lilly Sams Warden.

Mrs. Sechrist worked in the quality control department at RJR, after 21 years of service she retired and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Garland Wendell Sechrist, Jr. and his wife, Donna; daughter, Barbara Ann Sechrist Tilley and her husband, Glenn; brothers, James Warden and his wife, Shirley; Wayne Warden and his wife, Beverly; and Bobby Warden and his wife, Cheryl; sister, Shearlie Poe and her husband, David (deceased); eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and friend, Michelle Sechrist.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sechrist was predeceased by her husband, Garland Wendall Sechrist, Sr

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Brims Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Gerald Jones officiating.

In lieu of flower, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice of your choice.
