Hiram Leland Johnson

Mr. Hiram Leland Johnson, age 79, of Westfield, passed away on September 1st, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born on October 18th, 1943, in Richmond County, NC, to the late Woodrow and Alsie Simmons Johnson.

Mr. Johnson worked at Pilot Mountain Fuel Supply and was of the Baptist faith. He also enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Pamela Hicks Johnson; daughter, Lisa Johnson and Ronald; grandchildren, Lakin Shelton, Austin Shelton, Kloey Coe and Tristen Coe; great-grandchild, Kimber Shelton; sisters, Betty Henry, Shirley Shoe, Gaye (Donnie) Tilley, and Anne (James) McBride; brother, Jimmy (Helen) Johnson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by sister, Christine Ford and brother, Elbert Johnson.

A visitation will be held for Mr. Johnson from 2pm to 3pm on Friday, September 8th, 2023, at Old Orchard Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral service will be conducted immediately following the visitation with Elder Rodney Marshall officiating. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.
