JC Johnson

Mr. JC Johnson, age 80, of Siloam, passed away on June 24th, 2022, at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

He was born on January 19, 1942, in Surry County, to the late Jonas and Alma Wall Johnson

Mr. Johnson worked at as a load supervisor in the auto transportation industry. He loved working in his garden and being outside enjoying nature. JC also loved to play his guitar and he could always make people laugh with his quick wit and sense of humor. He proudly served his country as a US Marine during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Vikki Hill Johnson; daughters, Sonya (Terry) Willard and Lori (Mark) Walters; grandchildren, Chloe, Victoria, and Makayla Willard; a sister, Judy (Denny) Wood; numerous beloved, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Sparkle.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Johnson, Dennis Johnson, and Odis Johnson; and a sister, Mildred Adams.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 1pm at Pine Hill Friends Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, from 6:00-7:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel.
