James Gray Fain

Mr. James Gray Fain, age 77 of 614 Grassy Creek Road, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital of Forsyth County.

Mr. Fain was born in Forsyth County on January 11, 1948 to the late James Elwood & Martha Randleman Fain.  He was friends with everyone, loved to mow his yard & work on bicycles.  He was a member of Friends Union Church.

Mr. Fain is survived by two sisters, Beverly Fain Miller & husband Jeff, & Brenda Fain Nunn & husband R.D.; five nephews; two great-nephews; one niece; & two great-great-nephews.  Also left to cherish his memory are special friends, Daniel & Kathy Robinson, David Jessup & James Warner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood & Martha Fain.

A funeral service for Mr. Fain will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Friends Union Church in Pinnacle, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Jackie Caudill will be officiating the services.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
