James Myron Nunn, 67, of Westfield, passed away at Moses Cone Hospital, December 11, 2020. Born October 3, 1953, he was the son of Alcury and Norma Bondurant Nunn. A man who loved listening to music and playing banjo in bluegrass bands, leaves many precious memories for his family to cherish. He loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great- grandchildren, watching Westerns and sharing that tremendously kind heart. He is survived by his parents, Alcury and Norma Nunn, a son, Daniel Nunn; two daughters and son-in-law, Kendra Nunn (Jason) Lawson, Misty Robertson (Charles Nelson); eight grandchildren, Brett (Rebekah) Doss, Tyler (Christine) Lawson, Jade Lawson, Amber Robertson, Ashlee Robertson, Haley Nunn, Blake Nunn, Christian Nelson(Papa’s little Rosebud); five great-grandchildren, Waylon and Weston Hooker, Deaglan Doss, Ragnar and Rylee Lawson; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie (Jaqueline) Nunn; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen Collins, Cheryl (Mike) King, Carla (Lawrence) Smith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Blaine Nunn and a brother-in-law, Steve Collins.
A funeral service will be held, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM with a visitation, one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Asbury Presbyterian Church. Committal will follow in the church cemetery. Terry Collins and Tracy Collins will be officiating.
At other times, the family will receive family and friends at the home of his daughter, Kendra, at 1125 Ring Road, Westfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cox-Needham Funeral Home to help cover Mr. Nunn’s funeral expenses. (P.O.
